2015 Ram Promaster City price has been revealed during last week. This baby cargo van which is another product of Fiat and Chrysler merge is a US version of Fiat Doblo and it is going to join regular Promaster cargo van in RAM’s van fleet.
Base RAM Promaster City Tradesman trim is going to be sold for $23,130, plus the $995 destination charge. Higher Tradesman SLT trim is going to $24,665 and for the passenger versions named Wagon and Wagon SLT buyers will need to pay $24,130 and $25,665 respectively. On all these prices buyers will need to pay another $995 of destination charge.
This cargo and passenger price is going to be more expensive than its competition with being around $3,000 more expensive than the cheapest cargo van in the class Nissan NV200 and $2,000 more expensive than Ford’s Transit Connect and Chevrolet City Express.
Together with these price figures, fuel economy of the 2015 RAM Promaster City was also revealed in Chrysler’s latest announcement. This van is going to achieve 21 mpg in the city conditions making it the van with worst fuel economy figures in city conditions on the market. Fuel economy figures of 29 mpg in the highway conditions on the other hand are the second best in the class, after Ford’s 30 mpg in models that come with 1,6 liter EcoBoost engine.
