Hyundai Motors has constantly growing and becoming more and more serious manufacturer by the day. One of the biggest step from average to top is building your-own sports car. Hyundai was far from something like this, but now, after Allan Rushfort, Hyundai Europe’s CEO announced that this company is planing to introduce a small sports car which won’t be based on earlier Coupe version, that was sold in US in any way.
New Hyundai sports car is going to be smaller than the coupe, and it is going to become the rival of Mazda Miata. Basis of the new model is going to be the new PassoCorto Concept version, that was promoted on this year’s Geneva Motor Show is going to be the basis of the new model development. We are guessing that the new model will come with 1,6 liter turbocharged four cylinder engine, similar to the one we find in Hyundai Veloster Turbo, and it is going to produce 201 horsepower and 195 pound feet of torque.
