500 units of 2016 Volvo S60 Cross Country are going to be offered on the American market. Reason for such a limited edition is that Volvo planed to offer more of these sport utility sedans in developing countries like India, Russia or Brazil.
Volvo’s Head of American operations Lex Kerssemakers stated in an interview done by Car and Driver journalists that after this short assessment of S60’s sales power worldwide, this manufacturer may consider replacing the whole S60 range with Cross Country version only.
All auto experts concluded that the introduction of sport utility sedan vehicle is crazy as hell, and the only similar attempt was recorded few years back when Subaru tried to release similar version of its Subaru Legacy Outback. Is this attempt to emerge new vehicle class going to be successful, we’ll need to wait and see for ourselves.
