Short History of Dodge Charger

Dodge Charger is one of the most important nameplates in muscle car history. First generation Charger came out in 1966, and it was a show model. In 1968, second generation vehicle came out, and until 1977 when this car faced discontinuation as a victim of oil crises four different generation vehicles came out. Five years latter , fifth generation came out, as a sports hatchback coupe. It was produced for five years until another discontinuation in 1987. Four door sedan vehicle that we all think about when somebody mentions Charger came out after a long pause in 2006. In 2010, seventh generation vehicle came out and in the end of this year SRT Hellcat version.
