2015 Volvo V40 Overview and History

This car needed 5 years to reach American market, it debuted in Europe in 1995, as a wagon version of S40, and the first model that was sold in the United states was made for 2000 model year. It was sold until 2004, and then it was discontinued in both Europe and America. European model was reintroduced in 2012, but for the American model we needed to wait for one more year. American Volvo fans needed to wait for one more year for the new model to be introduced, and when it reached American shores it came as quite of a surprise, because had much higher ride, bigger wheels and better off-road capability. It was also called V40 Cross Country. Similar Cross Country version of Volvo V60 was also introduced one year after and promoted on 2014 LA Auto Show.

This car is constantly changing. We are not talking about some cosmetic changes on the interior and exterior styling, but something much more drastic. Model we are talking about here is going to come with a new smaller turbocharged engine, that’s going to be placed in few other models of Volvo range. This way company will drastically cut the costs of these model’s production, plus the fuel economy is going to increase with the new line of engines that are not going to be bigger than four cylinders.

Some of the 2015 North American International Auto Show Debut Models

Here we will present you some of the models that are scheduled to debut on 2015 North American International auto Show in Detroit’s Cobo Center that starts on 12 January and will last until 25 January 2015. Auto reviewers predict that this is going to be the best NAIAS since 2008 Economic Crises.

Announcement: 2015 North American International Auto Show

Announcement

All American auto enthusiasts know that in less then 10 days 2015 North American International Auto Show is going to start. Like before it is going to be held at Cobo Center in Detroit, Michigan. Auto Show will last until 25st January. First two days will be open to journalist only in an event called Press Review, after that goes the Industry Preview, that starts on 14th January and finishes one day later. On 16th January there will be a Charity Preview, and Auto Show will be open to the public from 17th January until 25th january when the gates will be closed.
