Big Takata airbag recall hit on this company hard, and only on this company but on all the car manufacturers who used their airbags. More than 7,8 million vehicles need to be recalled and this is going be followed by the investigation by the National Highway Safety Administration. The news that made even bigger turmoil is the news about an attempts made by this company and certain manufacturers to deal with this problem back in 2004, which proves that they knew about the problem back then. 

Shigehisa Takada chairman of the Takata company, furred his partners, American authorities and the general public even more when he sent his main financial officer on the big security briefing concerning his company’s products. Takada hasn’t been around since June, when he gave a statement to the media that his company is going to cooperate with investigators on this matter.

Takata company lost more than 63% of its market value and it is at its 5 year low financial status. Experts say that it is very important for the company chairman to be around and in public when company goes through the stormy waters. Shigenisa Takada obviously doesn’t agree with them and is leading the company his grandad founded in 1933 to bankruptcy.
