New Ford Everest revealed on the last APEC (Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation) summit. This is the even on which some of the most powerful leaders from around the world gather, including presidents of Russia, United States and China. This was the right place for a promotion of the new SUV model that’s made for the Asian market.
Ford Everest doesn’t go around the bush with adding crossover characteristics like Ford Explorer, that became crossover years ago. The vehicle that was presented on the APEC summit was a concept version. It comes with an improved on and off road capability and range of engines that go from 2,0 liter EcoBoost to 2,2 liter four cylinder and 3,2 liter inline five.
When it comes to rock climbing this vehicle is as good as some of the most famous off-roaders like Toyota Land Cruiser Prado and Jeep Grand Cherokee. It comes with 9 inches of ground clearance, wading depth of 25 inches, 29 degree approach and 25 degrees departure angles. It also comes with adjustable on-to-fly four wheel drive system.
interior is very well designed with second and third row that can be folded flat to the ground. Star hi tech feature is Sync 2 infotainment that comes with a eight inch touch screen display. This SUV also comes with interesting set of electronic safety features and panoramic moonroof which is an additional option.
