This is the day, when all the SUV and crossover enthusiasts celebrate. Especially those who love Land Rover. Today the first Land Rover Discovery Sport came down from the production line, and it is the first produced model of this fantastic new SUV.
New model is an attempt to make Land Rover same as Range Rover, wide line with a vast variety of sub-branded models. Taking into consideration that Range Rover Sport is one of the most successful models from RR line up, it was logical that Sport model would be the next model Land Rover is going to offer.
New model is produced as part of the 2016 model year. It is going to be promoted on LA Auto Show in November and it is going to arrive in showrooms in the end of 2015. First produced vehicle was given to the Stephen Attenborough, from Virgin Galactic company, that promotes spaceflight tourism in the UK. Land Rover plans to grow its production to 750,000 vehicles per year.
